Before you buy

Per Microsoft, the reservation discount applies only to VM compute for matching sizes in the same region (with instance size flexibility within the series group); Windows or SQL software licensing, storage and networking are billed separately. It is a 1-year commitment and can be exchanged or cancelled only under Microsoft's reservation policies, subject to limits. It requires an Azure subscription (Azure Plan).
