What you get
- Microsoft Intune Plan 2: an add-on to Intune Plan 1 for advanced endpoint management — specialized devices (e.g. AR/VR headsets, large-screen and rugged devices), tunnel for mobile application management and firmware-over-the-air updates, at Microsoft's academic student pricing tier.
Before you buy
Academic pricing requires that the purchasing organization's Microsoft tenant carry verified Education eligibility, confirmed through Microsoft's own eligibility review. Student-priced licenses are for assignment to students only. Add-on only — per Microsoft, the tenant/users must already be licensed for Microsoft Intune Plan 1 (included in Microsoft 365 E3/E5, EMS and Business Premium). Also included in the Microsoft Intune Suite, so it is not needed if you already have the Intune Suite.
