Dataverse Database Capacity add-on [New Commerce Experience]

What you get

• Additional Microsoft Dataverse database storage capacity, sold in 1GB units, for storing table definitions and relational data plus generating analytics and insights.
• Per Microsoft's own documentation, this capacity is shared across the whole tenant and is a subscription entitlement, not an annual allowance — it accumulates and remains available continuously as long as the underlying licenses stay active; it does not reset or expire yearly.

Before you buy

This add-on only adds capacity on top of the tenant-wide default entitlement that comes from an existing Power Apps, Power Automate, or Dynamics 365 customer engagement app license (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing, Project Service Automation) — it does not include that base license. Per Microsoft, if a tenant exceeds its total database, file, and log capacity, several admin operations are blocked (creating, copying, restoring, or recovering an environment, and converting a trial to paid) until more capacity is purchased or a temporary 45-day, 25% capacity extension is enabled.
