What you get
- Licensing to migrate SharePoint sites (document libraries, lists, pages, and site metadata) from one Microsoft 365 tenant to another — separate from, and not covered by, the per-user Cross-tenant User Data Migration license used for mailboxes and OneDrive.
- Per Microsoft's own documentation, this is licensed per 100GB of data moved, not per user, with a 20% grace storage allowance built in for sites that grow during the migration window.
Before you buy
Per Microsoft, this capability is currently offered mainly through Enterprise Agreement customers, and this feature does not migrate Microsoft Teams content, channels, or associated structure. To size the purchase, sum each site's current StorageUsed value (via SharePoint Online PowerShell) across all sites being migrated, then convert to the number of 100GB license units needed. Confirm with us whether this SKU is currently available outside an Enterprise Agreement before you buy.
