Business Apps (free) [New Commerce Experience]

What you get

• Business Apps (free) is a $0 Microsoft add-on that turns on Microsoft Bookings — an appointment-scheduling tool with a customer-facing booking page and shared staff calendar — for Office 365/Microsoft 365 Enterprise E3 and E5 users, where Bookings is available but off by default. Per a Microsoft Tech Community post, this add-on has also included Microsoft Listings, Microsoft Connections, and Microsoft Invoicing.
• Bookings itself is turned on by default for Microsoft 365 Business Standard and Microsoft 365/Office 365 A3 and A5 plans, so this add-on is specifically for E3/E5 tenants where it isn't on by default.

Before you buy

This add-on has no monetary cost, but per Microsoft's own guidance it still needs to be added to the subscription and licenses assigned to users before Bookings appears in their app launcher — it is not automatic. Government Community Cloud (GCC) tenants have historically lagged commercial tenants for Bookings availability, pending federal approval, per Microsoft's own support documentation; confirm current GCC availability before you buy for a government tenant.
