Before you buy

You must already be a licensed Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management customer to deploy a scale unit — this add-in does not include the base Supply Chain Management license. Per Microsoft's own guidance: once the scale unit feature is enabled and workloads are deployed, they cannot be removed, so confirm your capacity needs before purchasing; unlike a cloud scale unit, an edge scale unit requires on-premises hardware/appliances at your site, and the hub environment it connects back to must itself be cloud-hosted (on-premises environments cannot serve as the hub).
